Not starlings!

Today we got up at 4am (!!!) and drove 2 hours to see the starlings leaving their roost at Ham Wall nature reserve near Glastonbury.

I'd hoped to get a really good shot of the starlings in the sky but unfortunately whilst they put on a display for us, I have to say that it was really a 'bronze' display rather than a 'gold' one, they flew fairly low so were set against the dark land rather than the light sky.
