Pretty Little Cupcakes

Haven't Blipped for a while but have some backblips from this week that I will get around to. :)

Yesterday we went to an absolutely lovely Burns Night that my colleague put on at her house. Unfortunately as I was in the Weej during the day and literally ran in and slapped a dress on after coming in, we didn't have time to buy them a gift. Ooops. Terrible guest. ;)

So I decided to make them a thank you gift instead. My colleague really loves the rose cupcakes I make so I thought I'd tart them upsomewhat with some pretty cases and a touch of purple glitter. They look really lovely.

We spent most of the day scouring round North Berwick as I had to pop into Gulp to exchange some gifts which sadly got broken in transit. We got to speaking to Miriam the owner who, after hearing about my cupcake obsession, has invited me to create a batch of cupcakes for her daughters birthday on Friday. Very exciting stuff indeed. Now of course it would have been FAR too easy if her daughter had been a girlie girl - in fact I'd probably have made the exact cupcakes above! But she's a little bit more rock and roll than that and is having a movie party so am thinking of something along those lines. ;) Very very excited and a tad nervous (okay more than a tad!!) but I've been encouraging A to get his bum in gear about selling his photography so to balk at my own opportunity would have been daft.
