The Venezuelan Brass Ensemble

Today Jane took me to a concert. I think it was quite possibly the best 'classical' concert i've ever been to, the fact that they managed to get no fewer than 5 standing ovations speaks for itself! Every time we thought it was the end they just carried on playing(and wooping and dancing and having fun at the same time... when i sneaked a photo the tuba players had just swapped with some of the percussion. At one point they even all walked off stage (still playing) only to appear again (still playing) half a minute later! They were just so full of energy and humour and sparkle.

Now i've just arrived back in my flat to find a hallway covered in feathers and a kitchen full of dirty dishes and mess... But it's oh so good to be home after a tedious nearly 4 hours on a train with some woman snoring for half of it... I couldn't do that too often no matter how fun it is when you're there.
