For the Flowers
How well do we know our neighbors? Do we know from what part of the world their ancestors came? I think we would be surprised. In my little corner of the city there is a tight-knit community of gypsies, they call themselves Roma. When one of their family members takes ill they come to the hospital where I work. The status of that family member can be measured by the number others sitting vigil. Recently the local King of the Gypsies was fighting for his life and there were over 100 people there. The hospital staff opened up a conference room for the family. It was an interesting week.
What does that have to do with today?s blip?
This water spigot is in a quiet corner of a large cemetery that is the final resting place of several generations of the Roma clan. It is an interesting place to wander.
Thanks for stopping by.
