Holding Fast

Through all the rains, winds and winter gardening this little feather has held fast. Will the coming of spring and new growth on the shrubs shake it loose?

Sometimes it feels like life is held together by a single fiber and we are waiting to see which final gust pushs it off the edge. If we are lucky, we can defy gravity and gently fall to earth like this little feather.
