This 1960s/70s light shade is to me a truly inspired piece of design,inspired i'm sure by the sun.It hangs in the Antique Centre i work in a couple of days a week,and every time i see it,I love it.

Not that I would have it in my house,it is forever in the retro era,but i did live with these lights when I was a kid,and thought they were completely ugly(along with the lime green kitchen benches that were fashionable at the time)

I think its very early"Ikea",swedish definitely,and as i was stuck inside today,with the sun beating down outside,my blip of the day.
