It was a'chiffon' kind of day ,as it turned out.
Someone with great legs,and an even better shimmy,came to buy this dress.
The wonderful thing, was the skill and craftsmanship in the making of it.
Sadly,something we are seeing less and less of,and I fear,unless absolutely top end of the market,another dying art.Dressmaking was revered until the last few decades.
This dress was chiffon,with a netting edge for weight,and therefore flow,and satin underlay....superb workmanship.

She suited it superbly....and bought a work of art.
