Life Saver

Not a good day for photography. Although wet, cold and windy, I was down on the beach at lunchtime but got distracted by trying to photo two crows that seemed to have unusual markings - which only showed in flight. It spent about 20 mins trying to get a shot (just as a record to show to bird expert friends) but it was hopeless. Late afternoon it was raining again and I decided to leave the Canon 40D at home and just take my Powershot S5. The rain eased off a bit, but when I got the camera out, the batteries died. So this was a last ditch attempt - taken with my Android phone.

Some high tides coming up over the next few days so should be some good photo opportunities.
