One more sleep to go!

We had terrible storms through the night, lightning illuminating the room, roars of thunder seconds later. This morning there was calm so I enjoyed a trip to ASDA to collect last minute essentials. On the way I stopped to watch this juvenille gull doing a rain dance to attract the worms. He seemed really successful in his attempts.

I'm pretty much packed for the holiday now, well when I say packed, everything is thrown in the correct bag for The Boy to organise when he gets home. There's always that panic of whether you'll tip the weight limit, what if you've forgotten something. My current concern is that for the last few weeks we have watched the aurora dance across the Kiruna sky via webcam. now this horrible weather has moved in and it is overcast and dreary. *Fingers crossed we get one clear night whilst we're there!*

I'm not sure what internet connection will be like whilst we're away. I have my laptop so hopefully I'll get chance to upload some blips but if not, I'll see you all on the 15th!

In other news:

Milo has ended her 3 month fast. She only took a tiny tiny mouse but hopefully that should be enough to kick start her in to eating normally again.
