Rodents rule

Can't see the mallards for the ivy

A day off work - yay! It was a lovely sunny day so I took myself off for a long walk around Dulwich looking for bliportunities. Dulwich College was almost my blip - but the ducks won. When I reached Dulwich Park, I was disappointed that I didn't have any bread - so many ducks, all noticeably and audibly hungry. Then I remembered that I'd bought a fresh loaf from the Dulwich bakery (my short-term memory is quite terrible, sometimes). So, the ducks were soon very happy ducks. A few pigeons, black-headed gulls and even squirrels joined in. This tufted duck almost became the main blip, too. Tufted ducks are my favourite ducks - I love those blue beaks!

Another bonus point of the walk was meeting a very waggy-tailed springer spaniel who came over to say 'hello'. It may had something to with the bread, of course.

Sorry F for the much-depleted bread situation. I didn't let any of the beasties get your cake, though.

Newsflash: just repotted the cactus after its second suicide attempt. F pointed out that the cactus might fall on the cat during a third suicide attempt.
