Balloon mouse

I had a great chat with a friend this evening, who put a few things right in my head and then set me the challenge of making a balloon mouse. She gave me a balloon-modelling kits for Christmas - believe me, that's a fantastic gift! After much squeaking of balloons, one irate cat and one failed try, I did it!

Today was extremely surreal at work - I feel like I'm there, yet not there. I'm still insanely cheerful, but I really am optimistic about the future. My colleagues, friends and family are full of hope for me - you're all fantastic. Thank you! I'm up for the challenge of a new working adventure.

The editorial team went out for chips and beans at lunchtime. We're all in a state of shock, and chips and beans really help!
