Oh dear

Our day started off well - I managed to get the kids to nursery for the special "music session" which always starts at 8.40. It's a real challenge for us to get there on time, and we hardly ever make it which is such a shame, so I was quite pleased with myself when we did.

I then made the fatal mistake to check out my German CV. It had not been looked at since 2001 (I have always had English ones since then), and looked accordingly AWFUL. Got all discouraged because I don't even know how to price myself - in Britain, translators charge by the 1000 words, here it is by line!!! It's a whole new world and it's very scary, especially when you have been out of it for 3 years thanks to lovely reproduction duties.
