Have you ever wondered?

Have you ever stood on a bridge, when a massive spate is in full flood and wondered? Wondered how long the bridge has stood there? Wondered how many spates it has seen flow under its arches? Wondered if the spates have been as big as this one? It's after the last thought that I generally get off the bridge and that was the case today! This is the River Almond which I cross each day to and from work. I always pause here to look opver the edge. Is anyone fishing? Are there any fish jumping? Not so today though. Nope, I'm going home.

Four wet days out of four so far and 2 p**ct***s on the bike as well. Bahh....
