Whoa.......where did that weather come from?

Left the wee house in a blizzard this morning, the legs grinding away as any progress on the bike was slow indeed. Not too far from the house I got a huge snowflake in the eye and it was really, really nippy. I recounted the story to my fifteen year old nièce, who didn't seem that surprised and then in a fifteen year old attitude sort of tone said " well they are ice crystals aren't they? Duh...."

The homeward journey was brought to a bit of a delay by a puncture alongside the River Almond. :Possibly the tree from yesterday having his revenge?!
