some on here said i should smile more often....

For Christmas, I got this awesome red scarf made out of the same material. After Christmas, when I had a little extra cash, I went shopping with a friend and ending up finding a matching hat at a completely different store. The colors are SLIGHTLY different, but unless you're paying close attention, you would think they were a matching set. And I am in love with the scarf and hat.

I actually took this photo of myself for school. I'm do an internship at an elementary school -- I'm not a student teacher, but it's pretty much almost the same thing. Anyway, there are 9 girls, including myself, doing this internship and we have a bulletin board dedicated to our program. For our winter bulletin board, we're making "A Winter Wonderland" and we all made our own snowmen and then we were supposed to pick out a picture of ourselves to put on top for the head. Well, my snowman has a white & red scarf and red boots, and I wanted my head to match, so I took this new picture today so it would go together.

Can you tell my favorite color is red? Haha. Also, I love how the red hat and my blue eyes complement each other.

ANNND I think I'm finally getting the hang of this Photoshop stuff. Thanks to plenty of help from several tutorials I've hunted for online. My only complaint about this self-portrait is the angle of my face/head. I chopped off the bottom of the picture in Photoshop because it was unnecessary and I don't like my arms to show, but it made the angle of the photo kind of funny. It's more focused on my hat then my face.

Oh well! I'm pretty happy with this self-portrait despite that.
