Oh So French

So we did another day trip this Saturday, because we are such intrepid and relentless travelers har har. This time we went to Niort - a town probably around the same size as La Rochelle - if I could be bothered to look it up. We came to the conclusion, however, that it felt bigger, because its streets are wider and there are more open spaces. This is temporarily ignoring the fact that we leave by the sea, of course. Small details.

We saw a few Churches, a building masquerading as a dungeon, and a really pretty little park where we found our inner children and climbed the spiderweb frame. This was taken en route to the Cathedral and is very FRENCH to me. unfortunately a little blurred, but i figured what the heck. Thanks go to my unsuspecting model. Shame he didn't have a baguette strapped to his side.
