Malibu - Day 5

Breakfast - coffee, hard boiled eggs, toast, leftover potatoes, fruit salad.

We then headed to the Getty Museum.

Afterwards, we drove down Sunset Blvd and oohed and aahed over the homes. We then had drinks at The Standard in Hollywood - a pitcher of blood orange mojitos and lunch complete with calamari, cheese pizza, nicoise salad and burger made us a happy bunch. Jer was a smidge less than happy because he got tricked into dressing for a hiking/beach day...while the rest of us brought clothes to change into in the event of a hike. But he was still better dressed than most everyone we saw that day.

We drove around Beverly Hills, and surrounding areas looking for Aperol to make spritzes. Four liquor stores later we found what we needed. A quick run to the grocery store for dinner fixin's, and we finally settled in with our drinks in hand.

Dinner was salmon on the fire, and a beet, pear, gorgonzola salad with candied walnuts. Mmmmm.
