Malibu - Day 6

Pilates in the AM, and breakfast with coffee, yogurt, granola, bread, cheese, fruit, bacon.

Drove into Beverly Hills and had lunch at the Chateau Marmont. We spotted a couple of celebs there - Richard Belzer from Law & Order: SVU (which I'm surprised we recognized since none of us have ever seen it before), and some other people who are probably in some show but we don't know what....

The food was fantastic, and so was the wine. We had a couple of bottles of Pinot Grigio and we had a chopped salad, BLT with avocado, cod sandwich, and crab cakes. Lunch was finished off with espresso and a flourless chocolate cake.

After we were sufficiently satiated, we were off to Griffith Park/Observatory. Afterwards we went to get a glimpse of the LA opera house (but it was too dark to really appreciate it in full).

Drove to San Pedro, met C's friends Carol and Nancy, and we did the Art Walk, had some wine and enjoyed the local scene. It was a cute little area and would love to spend more time here.

We had a long full day and were happy to get back to the campsite.
