Memento

Found this little fella across the street, about 150m from the apartment in Cairo. Guess the gunfire we could hear was pretty close after all.

It's been a mental few days and only just having chance to get a decent photo of this. Currently in Paris and flying back to the UK in a few hours.

The night in Paris was fun and a much needed chance to relax but this bullet casing was a swift reminder of the troubles which lead to us being here.

It's too early to have any fresh news of events in Cairo but am very very happy about the idea of being home with the family.
