Princess Aurora & Buzz take a break from flyin

Amélie loves princesses. Due to much commercialization of the brand she especially loves Disney Princesses. William isn't as keen. He's a Toy Story boy all the way.

Desperate for an 'Ariel' dress, (the little mermaid - for the uninitiated) I surprised her on Saturday with her wonderfully expensive scrap of material from ELC.

'But Mummy it's got a tail?'
'Yes, Amélie, its a little mermaid costume!'
Well, that's just silly, I don't want a fish tail, I want feet and shoes...'

Some time later we swap the scrap for a bigger, pinker and slightly more 'worth the money' scrap, known as the 'Sleeping Beauty' dress. Or Princess Aurora to those in the know - which will be any girl between 2-12.

Not to be left out, William got a Buzz Lightyear outfit from Tesco. He didn't ask for it, it was very reasonably priced & didn't need to be taken back. Although just like Amelie he did want to sleep in it.

A mite easier telling Buzz he has to get into his pajamas for bed, than trying to explain to Sleeping Beauty she has to take HER dress off. It was all OK after I explained that then she would sleep for a hundred years & miss pre-school.
