Bastille
Today was kind of boring in a really satisfying way. A sorting out day. I sorted. I think I might have done my washing up. (This is a considerably more significant event than doing your washing up should ever be.) I definitely tidied. My room is now pristine - it's amazing. I also cooked for myself, which I haven't done for ages other than at work. I made tuna pasta sauce and pasta, which was pretty much the only dish I could make out of the stuff in my cupboard.
After that, and after looking happily round my room a bit more, I went round to D's apartment, near Bastille. We ate biscuits, played GTA on her crappy Playstation, practising writing like a French person (so hard) and I helped her revise for the French test she has to take in order to get into a French University. K came round after a bit, once she'd finished work. She is going back to Scotland tomorrow for two and a half weeks. I may cry. (I won't.)
A was meant to join us but we decided to leave D's apartment at midnight so told her not to bother. We arranged to meet her in a bar near K's apartment, but were super late turning up so she was kind of pissed with us. Whoops! After that, we all went our separate ways, which was kind of sad, as normally someone comes and hangs out at mine on Saturday night, but A had things to do the next day and K was travelling at 3am.
Took this blip at Bastille metro station whilst making my way to meet A, with K.
