Homework

Middle child applying herself to her homework. This is unusual - normally she does everything to avoid concentrating, but recently she has been really good. She's getting well good at reading, I'm actually pretty proud of her. I wrote her a note, which I considered for my blip because I wrote it in French handwriting, but I decided I was too ashamed of my French grammar to put it up. Sorry.

Today was a successful day. I got up when I was meant to get up, beamed at my delightfully clean room, and went on a two hour walk round my suburb. My camera ran out of battery which was incredibly annoying but I guess I will just have to go again! It was so warm today. A lot of the time I was too hot in my coat so I had to carry it. My computer lied to me and said it was 3 degrees, but later changed its mind to 11, which seems much more likely. While I was walking, I was listening to Harry Potter 1 in Audio Book form. Stephen Fry is so magnificent. I went for a much longer walk than I meant to because I was near the end of the book and wanted to hear the ending!

I did a lot of cleaning this afternoon, and then the kids were fed and pyjama-ed long before the parents got home. Success!
