Driiiiiiiip!

We recently had a new boiler fitted after our old one went kaput after Christmas what with the terrible snowy and icy weather! This was after we spent a couple of weeks living with slowly dwindling heaters set up behind gates and obstacles to keep baby Floriana away, and no hot water besides the stuff you get out of the kettle and shower! I guess that's spoilt in many countries but when you are used to washing dishes without waiting for 3 kettles to boil and you'd normally wash at the bathroom sink rather than bend over the baby bath filled with shower water, it's a bit of a pain! The bars started to go on the heaters and the joke wore thin with the showers and kettle boiling, so we got on with getting a new boiler and it's nice to have heat and hot water even if the boiler's had some teething troubles! But because it's a new system the pressure has made the tap in the bathroom impossible to turn off and it's been dripping constantly! But today the plumbers spent hours (much to our frustration having to stay in and keep baby away from the the hall which is the way you get to everywhere else) removing taps and sinks, hammering stuck parts, taking bits away and coming back to fit and finally fixing our tap, so it no longer does the above!! Yeah!

Maddy (and Daddy yesterday) and Floriana have tummy bugs which have given them tummy upsets and lots of stomach pain. I never get these things though as I'm more the other way (TMI? Lol) so I've been cheif looker afterer! Maddy will go back to school tomorrow though!!
