Orange Silhouetted Sky
BBRRRR it was cold this morning; 30 degrees; and there was frost on the ground. Just enough to probably kill all the little blossoms we have been seeing around the last few weeks.
After I got to work, I looked out my window, which overlooks Empire Lake and a pier, and there was fog on the water. It gave the lake a sort of mysterious look about it. I hurried down and took some shots of it, but just couldn't quite capture it.
After work, I went to the "Blippers Pier" and pddesigns and inspiredesigns were there. The sunset was pretty, but not spectacular. It just didn't take over the sky the way I had hoped, but it had sort of an orange look to it in spots. So, I captured a little of it in this shot of a young man on the pier.
After everyone else left the dock, I stayed for awhile, hoping for something better. The sky did get a lot bright and pinker, but, again, I just didn't capture it well. Anyway, I was freezing to death, so I hurried home and turned up the heat.
Later, I am still cold and the heat is up about as much as it can be. So, I guess its time to put on warm pajamas and go to bed with an extra blanket.
I hope you all have a warmer evening than I have.
