Keys

My crazy key collection. English heart, Eiffel Tower (a bit squished!) and a lego chav - an in-joke and a Christmas present from K. I have eight keys on this keyring - some for England, one which doesn't work; the rest are for France, namely front door, my door, back door, mailbox and gate.

Today was alright, though nothing special happened. The house is still exceptionally tidy; shows what happens when you actually do some work! Smallest child and I reached a bit of an impasse at lunchtime when he refused to eat his vegetables and I refused to let him down from the table until he did. Needless to say, he didn't, and I eventually (after 45 minutes) sent him to his room for his afternoon nap where he started crying and saying he wanted to eat his vegetables, but I know his tricks! He would have just sat at the table again, continuing to not eat them. I couldn't be bothered to watch him do that, so just let him cry it out and we were best of friends again when I went back to get him at 4.30.

Also, he is learning his colours and keeps saying everything is 'very very pretty' which is adorable. Middle child and I are still getting on okay and eldest child is being a bit sulky but generally fine. Still in shock, to be honest!
