Mt. St. Helens, Washington

This is our other neighborhood volcano, Mt. St. Helens. This was taken in the town of Battle Ground, Washington, north of us by about 5 miles. In May of 1980, this mountain lost the top 1/3, with an explosive eruption and changed the way it looks. Lots of info on line about this mountain. It got a new coating of snow and looks very pretty against the blue sky.
