Le Gros-Horloge

Today was another nice day, weather wise, not so nice if you're a Scottish rugby fan. Indy and I went for a looooong walk before the match. We visited the animals at the petting zoo and found a massive park that we didn't even know existed.

The sun was out again but it wasn't quite as hot as yesterday, the clouds kept getting in the way. That didn't put a dampener on my optimism, however, as I left my house wearing just a t-shirt. I set upon a brisk stroll along the pavement looking around and waiting for the sun's heat to hit. I noticed that a lot of people were wearing coats and scarfs and hats, I think I even saw one person wearing gloves! Talk about spot the bloody Scotsman.

My summer had arrived, 13 degrees was off the scale! 5 minutes into the walk though, I started feeling a little chilly. 'I'll tough it out' I thought. 5 minutes after that I was on the bus, awkwardly stretching around trying to pull my jumper on without punching the person next to me.

This shot is a reflection of the Gros-Horloge in La Rochelle. Apparently it rained last night. I never knew.
