Wet Saturday!

Such a miserable day - cold and wet, dark and windy! Decided to spend the day baking. These are rum and raisin muffins, but made with brandy and sultanas. I didn't get any complaints though . . . . !

Last night there was Scottish ceilidh dancing in the village hall so we went along and had a fun time, although only 12 other folk were there. Tonight we went dancing again, but at a school about 25 miles away. There was a good turn out, and we had a great time. Very energetic, surely it must have burnt off some of the calories from the muffins!

Hurried home to watch Match of the Day with a small glass of something reviving. Not a bad life!

Back blipped yesterday too . . .
