It's my 40th birthday today.

It's been a nice day so far, lots of lovely pressies and more birthday wishes than I could count. Thank you all.

Blip is my mum and dad and my girls - went for a really nice meal today..and feeling like a proper grown up for once, I dabbed my dads chin for him when his custard went walkabout down his face! We all laughed at the sign of things to come!

I was going to list 40 things I love...but the list went from family and home to stuff that seemed really trivial! So that plan went out the window.

Not going out tonight - birthday on school nights suck! But going to raise a glass of the bubbly my mum gave me!

So think of me tonight head held high as I stride into a new decade - and join me in a toast to..
