39 and very brave me!

This is a brave shot for me - no make up!

On my last Saturday in my thirties.

Big 40 tomorrow. A day I have been dreading since my big 30!

When I started my blip in November - I was feeling a complete cliche, facing 40 as a lone parent, just me and my girls in a new house with all that entails.

But 2011 has brought a new job, a new relationship and a new outlook on my life. A life less ordinary.

So, you never know... this decade may just be one of the best ever.

I ummed and ahhhed about posting the pic - but my open book attitude prevailed!
