Limburg

This is the cathedral in Limburg. Good colours on a dull day. Another day spent exploring a part of the world around where I now live. The area around the cathedral bears a bit of comparison to the Royal Mile in Edinburgh in that it's covered in tat shops very popular with tourists and has a lot of historic buildings. One of these was called the House Of The Seven Vices which for all it's exciting name, wasn't exciting at all.

It was good to walk around but I did feel for our chum A who has his foot in a medical boot after rupturing his Achilles (in total his foot will be in that thing for 10 weeks - I think the novelty of it has well and truly worn off). Old Limburg is not a great place if you have any sort of mobility problems.

I tried for another blip today of the largest Heronry I've ever seen - unfortunately it just looked like a great big Grey Smudgery In The Indistinct Greenery. Another day perhaps.
