Road to the heavens

Had my bandage changed this morning as per usual but with a twist, the nurses are no longer packing the wound as they now want it to heal over. Which sounds like good news to me.

Me, Erin, Jake and Emma (Erin's big sis) went for a lovely walk on Nigg beach in the rain and it was really good. Jake has always been kind of wary of water but seems to love the beach and today was his first foray into the north sea. He went in to fetch his beloved frisbee and had a good old swim.

This is a shot of the road that runs up the hill past the beach to the farm at the top of Nigg hill. Thought it looked pretty cool with the cloud cover.
