Barking

Our beach

We've had a lazy kind of a day today. I've managed to get 5 loads of washing done since yesterday. We also went out for coffee with A & D (Good to see you both again, guys) and managed to buy gifts for various people who have been looking after the house and the boy while we were away.

We took a stroll down our very windy beach this evening with the pooch. He, of course, managed to find a dead Shag to roll in which resulted in the obligatory wash when we got home. He tried to go through my legs in the process and I ended up as wet as him, the little minx! He enjoyed the drying process though, a kind of a massage with the towel and he smells much better now. I plan to brush his teeth before bed so that he's freshly smelling again.

This photo shows Cousteau taking a break from sniffing, peeing and rolling in dead things for a spot of modelling. It's a nightmare when your ears won't stop blowing in your face, isn't it?!

He met a couple of border collies that tried to hump him. He was very patient but lost it in the end and we had to go our own way.

Dinnertime now and then bed.

I really loved this shot. 42, your seagull's over here now!
