Tiled

When we first moved into our house nearly ten years ago there were rooms that we couldn't get to. What is now our guest room was a hay store, that we could only get to from outside, then in 1850 thay built a bread oven so there was no longer any access. In 2005 we opened up from underneath, put in stairs and discovered a wonderful room.

This is a tile from this room, it is a wonderful bit of history we can imagine the bloke carving the date, just before the revolution in 1789.

I love that the house talks to us, telling us what to do, needless to say we have left the floor "au natural"
