Gender Bending

These are some of the things I love. Books. Academic study. Film Noir. Sexuality/Gender studies.

In Film studies, I had to do a journal exercise that had me writing a 'hard boiled detective' story, and then converting it into a Noir screenplay. Noir always questions sexuality and identity. I played up to this when I did my conversion.

When I explained my plans to my friend, future flat mate, and now fellow blipper, the awesome Miss Cheryl Moo, all she had to say on the matter was: "Dod, you've gotta stop with this Gender Bending." Lesbians, eh?

Either way, some food for thought on a new project. Watch this space (well not this one, as this one is already filled... but look out for something new ;-)

Ooops... up there I meant when I converted my short story into a screenplay. I would like to make it clear that I have not personally undergone any form of conversion... although now seems like a good time to congratulate Mathew's friend Lewis on his recent success in that regard :)

OK... I think this may be the gayest of all of my blips so far!
