Big Bird

In the Auckland Domain is this bronze sculpture of a bird. Stylised, and when seen from a different angle it merely looks like two connected poles. I thought that this was the best angle, with the early morning eastern sky behind beginning to lighten. Behind and to my left was the Auckland Museum, which is a great building in its way.
