100

It is a big celebration in class today and each child worked very hard at creating a hat with 100 items displayed on it. They have been practicing counting by 1's,5's and 10's all the way to 100 and have been getting better at it day by day.

"L"s statement to me after making the hat...

"Wow...it's a lot faster counting to 100 when you do it by 5's".

This observation made me happy to know that she learned something from the whole process.
