St John's Gate

I pass by or under this arch on my way to work every day as I did this morning. It is part of St John's Museum in Clerkenwell. I think it's the only part of the old Priory still left. I love the fact I work in such an old part of the City of London - you can smell the history. I never tire of looking for interesting old buildings as I escape the office at lunch time.
