Boris Bikes

Lunch time today took me to the bank on High Holborn. I like to walk up past Saffron Hill to Hatton Garden where the mix of posh and unposh shops selling jewellery, gems and precious stones are huddled together and where gentlemen of the Jewish religion with kippah caps and black fedora hats can be espied!
Anyway enough of this descriptive stuff, I came upon a gaggle of blue Barclays Boris bikes. I keep thinking I should have a go one of these days and cycle from Farringdon to London Bridge to get my train home, but I like my walk through the City too much. Also people like me step off the pavement onto the road in front of cyclists without looking where they are going.
