Tree House

I always wanted a tree house as a child, but our garden had no trees.

We moved to a new house when I was 3 and I was really excited when dad planted trees in the back garden; but I was then devastated to discover that conifers were the wrong type of tree and an apple tree would take at least 20 years to grow big enough to support a tree house.

I visited my clients house today and was excited to find this new addition to the garden, how exciting!

Somewhere deep inside the adult me is a jealous small child wishing she'd planted that apple seed 25 years ago!

I wonder if they'd invite me in sometime?
