Tea Drinker

I am a tea drinker.

It's my only excess really.

My colleagues all know that if the kettle is on I'd love a cuppa and when I arrive at a client's its the first thing they offer.

I've been in the office early this week doing overtime so I've been arriving just after 6, when it's still dark outside and I'm the only one there.

Yesterday I went to make my first cup of tea (always the best by far) and there was no milk in the fridge :( How could they do this to me!

Today I was organised, I'd checked last night that there was milk so I got in, switched the computer on then headed straight for the kitchen. Familiar routine .. kettle on .. find largest clean mug in cupboard .. reach for teabags, but no! No teabags! I checked the cupboard in panic but there were none.

So this was it, my early morning cup of tea out of the machine. The size of the cup is bad enough, but then to only half fill it, and with such a poor excuse for a cup of tea.

This was the worst possible start to a long day. I'm pleased to report that things got better from this point on.
