A lovely day off in the sun!

Its sunny!! I can't believe it! And I had the day off today, it is never sunny when I have the day off!

Started the day off beautifully by going up to Amberley and having a walk along the very muddy river (luckily we both managed to stay upright!) followed by lunch at the Bridge Inn. Unfortunately, other than a very photogenic tractor and a few cows I did not manage to get anything that I really wanted to blip so we whizzed down into Arundel for coffee and a cake and popped into the Arundel WWT and then Swanbourne Lake! There were loads of birds there! Oddly enough!! I managed to get some photos of Green Finches, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Robins, a pheasant and, believe it or not a Cormorant, but I have settled on this rather cheeky Chaffinch!

As a bit of an aside someone rated my Woodpecker photo yesterday with a 1, who does that? I know it is not the best shot on here of a Woodpecker by a long shot but really? To start with I was a little perturbed by it but then I thought that it is probably a bit of a waste of energy to worry about it!
