Oystercatcher on Climping Beach

Had another lovely sunny day off! My goodness anyone would think it was Spring!

Started the morning with a lovely cup of coffee down at Littlehampton Marina and then bit the household chorey bits before tackling the garage and doing a tip run! Though that I would reward myself with a trip to Climping beach with my camera.

It was absolutely glorious down there, whilst I love walking with the children and with my boyfriend it was a lovely to just walk by myself for a change!

I walked for what seemed like ages and got lots of lovely photos of the sunlight on the wet sand but the only birds that were around were Gulls and Crows but it was still a very pleasant walk however just as I had given up seeing any other birds I saw a couple of Oystercatchers which then led onto a couple more Oystercatchers! A very kind lady with two rather large dogs held onto them for me so that I could attempt to capture them, no pressure then with two large dogs behind me champing at the bit - ha ha ha! As soon as I thought that I might have something I could use she released the beasts and then birds took off!
