Ropes

That white thready thing around the edge of the stovetop is actually fiberglass rope. I cut it to length and glued it in with special stove gasket glue. I am dubious about it's sticking power. We'll see tomorrow when I flip the top over and bolt it to the body of the stove.

I can tell that the project is nearing completion. Tonight's efforts didn't take me long and I found myself looking for things to do when there was nothing.

It is time to think about the next project.

I might build a second level in the garage.
