Solitude and old age

I watched this bird for a while today, it appeared to be quite content in its solitude. Some thrive on being alone, others suffer from the loneliness. I don't mind being alone from time to time but I couldn't survive very long on a desert island. Maybe long enough to build a small abode and organise a plan of action.

Tonight child #2 announced that she wanted to build a hotel so that old people could come and live with her. Heart of gold that one.

Excellent day today, battling for the causes of good health of young members of the household. Everyone, apart from Madame, is just fine, and she is recovering, slowly.
