Today's blip is brought to you by our sponsors, Calpol. Note the use of the brand leader's name here. We tried Tesco's generic infant paracetamol. Katie violently objected to it. I tasted a bit. I understood why - it tastes only of paracetamol.

Anyway, thanks to the wonderdrug Katie managed a really happy morning. She was delighted to wake up to find her grandad had arrived whilst she was asleep and even let him feed her breakfast when she'd initially decided she didnt want any.

She loved gymnastics and was climbing everything, over and over. She went through every tunnel (apart from the green one that Ava loved today, instead of Katie!) Katie even very quickly recovered after being sent flying by another littlie! The instructor had returned with ice, to find Katie bouncing on the crash mats.

Only downside was that Katie decided gymnastics was time for her scoffing session (it normal waits until soft play). She had a good old explore round the room at soft play, went down the slide a few times but was ready for her lunch not long after 11!

By 12, good old calpol seemed to be wearing thin. She fell asleep but it only lasted 20 minutes and she woke up really rather sad, so I decided we'd miss her swimming class and brought her home. She didnt go back to sleep but had a big snuggle, played quite contentedly until Granny and Grandad arrived around 4 for a play and to collect all their overnight things.
