Rescued Seals
Today I visited the seal hospital in Caithness that is funded by British Divers Marine Life Rescue. There was one little seal inside in a pen who had recently been brought in with a deep cut round the back of his neck where it had become entangled in some fishing line. He was a sorry sight and although I took some photos of him I didn't want to post one as the cut didn't look too nice.
So instead here is a picture of some happier little fellows that were in the outside pool. This is where they go when they are building up their strength prior to being released back into the wild.
Our grey, cold, wet, windy, miserable weather continues - yuck!
