Busy Day at the Arts Centre Markets

I went for a walk this afternoon to see just what the markets at the Arts Centre had to offer and got there to find the place was heaving with people all out to make the most of the lovely day that we have today. I captured these peole wandering down the street obviously having a great time and in deep conversation.

It got me thinking.......

Gee its nice to go there on a day like this and see all the people around, since the earthquake this area has been a lot quieter than normal but as the days go by and the aftershocks lessen the people are coming back. Are we finally starting to get back to normal, has the stress of the actual quakes lessened for people. My feeling is that though some people are still in a terrible situation most of us have started to move on.
