On the 8th day God created.....

Portland is famous for few but distinct things - micro brews, rain, being 'weird' & of course Voodoo Doughnuts (aka donuts). Its been on national tv shows from the food channel to the travel channel - if you visit Portland you must visit Voodoo. They make all kinds of crazy doughnuts from M&M covered, Fruit Loop laced, to the famous Bacon Maple bar.

Thursday night i was thinking about work - it was a busy week and it felt a little stressed in the office. I thought that maybe a Voodoo run was needed for Friday morning - to put the week behind everyone and the weekend in full gear. Mission accomplished. Food - no matter if its a deep fried sugary snack for breakfast or dinner plans on the weekend - brings people together. For a laugh, a story or even just a relaxing good time.

This is the bacon maple bar - many people have scoffed at before trying it. Then once they taste this godly creation - they fall in love.
