The Pod (almost the end)

I have blipped this seed pod from the magnolia tree a couple of times. Actually I think it's quite a bit more interesting now than when it's full of seeds. It's fallen off the tree along with most of the others.

A chilly day here today, did have a yard full of red-winged blackbirds this morning. They are gorgeous and they are a treat to see. Hopefully I'll blip them later this week, unless they are just stopping by for a snack on their way north.
